In his book “The Little Book of Talent”, Daniel Coyle wrote, “one of the keys to igniting your motivation is to fill your windshield with vivid images of your future self, and to stare at them every day.”
There’s actually scientific reasoning why this is. When you visualize yourself performing an action, your brain is stimulated in the same way as it would be, when you actually perform the action. It is incredibly powerful. Little wonder why this technique is used by many top-performing athletes, musicians, entrepreneurs. Anyone who is or are on their way to be at the top of their game.
Traditionally, when people want to envision their successful future self, they create a vision board. But that may not be practical for everyone.
